What are the benefits?
Environmental Data Resources (EDR) provides a third party report of the Neighborhood Environment by pulling records from a variety of trusted resources, including governmental databases. It searches for concerns that might be dangerous to a homeowner's family or investment such as nearby leaking underground oil tanks, landfills, hazardous waste sites, and illegal drug labs. Accessing a database of millions of records, the report will identify known environmental hazards. Some of the most dangerous or costly hazards exist outside and can contaminate a home through pathways to human contact such as vapor intrusion, soil and groundwater. Just because an area appears pristine does not mean that issues are not present.
What is included in the report?
